Summer Holidays Day 4: Date Matsuri





Summer is festival time in Japan and we took ourselves off to our neighbouring town of Date to watch their parade.
I am tired, it's late, and yes, that's all your going to get in the way of explanation.
Oh, alright, here's a video clip too of the locals giving thanks to the great God of Centrifugal Forces.

    wow the god of centrifugal forces left myself and tiernan speechless. Laoise wants us to keep replaying the clip. Can we bring it over to the paddy's day parade?

    We are also mightily impressed at the speed of the army tank ride. I can't blame cian for hanging on for his dear life. Health and Safety?Pah - that's for losers
